James Valerio

Our guest will be James Valerio, realist artist, is well known for his complex and enigmatic compositions. He was born in Chicago and educated at The School of The Art Institute. Mr. Valerio’s large paintings of figures and of still-lifes are based on the combination of photographic sources, direct observation, and imagination. He is known for the visual intensity and ambiguous meaning of his highly finished works. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States and are in major private collections and museums.
