Robert A.M. Stern

For this very special meeting, we are inviting you to join us in hearing Mr. Robert Stern, the well-known architect, talk about his work and architectural matters. Mr. Stern is a practicing architect, teacher and writer. He is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A. 1960) and Yale University (M.Architecture 1965), a Fellow of The American Institute of Architects and received the Medal of Honor of its New York Chapter in 1984. Mr. Stern is principal in the award winning firm of Robert A.M. Stern Architects of New York. Some of their most recent projects are: The headquarters of Mexx International, Inc. in the Netherlands; The resort town of Grand Harbor in Vero Beach, Florida; A multi-purpose Fine Arts Building for the University of California at Irvine; The Center for Jewish Life at Princeton University; and a new library for St. Paul’s School in Concorde, N.H. In addition to being the subject of several works on architecture. Mr. Stern has authored a number of books. He has lectured extensively in the United States and abroad.
