Robert Wilson

The Society for Contemporary Art and the Visiting Artists Program of the School of The Art Institute will co-sponsor a lecture by Robert Wilson in the Rubloff Auditorium of The Art Institute of Chicago. Mr. Wilson is a multi-faceted artist who has written, designed and directed a wide range of works for the theatre, opera, dance, film and video including “Einstein on The Beach” with Phillip Glass, Euripides “Alcestis”, Gluck’s “Alceste”, Strauss’ “Salome” and Wagner’s “Parsifal”. His own works are displayed in many American and European museums – the names of which would make a roster of the outstanding museums of the world.
