Stray Show Exhibition Preview

THE STRAY SHOW PREVIEW RECEPTION Benefiting the Society for Contemporary Art Thursday, December 12, 2002. The Society for Contemporary Art has taken advantage of the exciting opportunity to host this year?s preview reception for the second annual Stray Show. The Stray Show is a collaborative event organized by Chicago?s emerging contemporary art organizations and Thomas Blackman Associates (TBA), initiated last year to promote the rising young community of alternative galleries, curators, and artists. This year?s event will be presented in a 37,000 square foot warehouse in Chicago?s Goose Island Industrial Corridor. The space will house approximately 40 exhibitors, curated project spaces, a video/lecture theater as well as a lounge and a nightclub. The Stray Show Preview Reception on the opening night of the show will provide an exclusive first look at the work of these young, emerging artists represented by galleries from Chicago and around the United States. Please be on the cutting edge and join us for a truly original evening. All proceeds from the Stray Show Preview Reception will benefit the Society for Contemporary Art acquisition fund.
