Please join the Society for Contemporary Art for this memorable end-of-year gathering with exclusive collection viewing, conversation, and reception.

This exclusive tour will take our members through a year of changes in the collection of the Art Institute's contemporary galleries. Always in motion and reacting to new stories, acquisitions, and events at the museum, this tour will include an emphasis on the Art Institute's special expanded pop art galleries. Additionally, we will take a closer look into the new works installed throughout the floor, including an exciting installation of career-spanning sculptures by Louise Bourgeois. Contemporary Art at the Art Institute of Chicago is always changing -- this tour offers a behind the scenes account of how and why those changes happen.

Following the tour, SCA members are invited to a reception at the landmark Chicago Firehouse Restaurant for further engagement and socialization.
