Please join the Society for Contemporary Art for this special event in recognition of the commitment and generosity of our Patron and Benefactor members.

Caitlin Haskell, Gary C. and Frances Comer Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, will be joined by Lisa Le Feuvre, Executive Director of the Holt/Smithson Foundation for a curator-led tour of Nancy Holt: Seeing in the Round. Together, they will guide our members through the exhibition -- the Art Institute's first presentation of Holt's work -- which features new site-responsive installations of Dual Locators (1972) and Locator (PS1) (1980) developed with the Holt/Smithson Foundation.

This event presents a unique opportunity to engage with Nancy Holt's work in a fresh context, and to consider the legacy of this pivotal sculptor, best known for her role in Land Art. Following the tour, SCA members are invited to a reception at the beautiful outdoor Atrium at Avli on the Park for further engagement and socialization.

You must be a Patron or Benefactor member in good standing to attend this complimentary event.

A small group of people view the portraits of former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.
